With the U.S. population aging, a greater percentage of Americans will develop Alzheimer’s disease. In 10 years, the number of people 65 and older with the devastating disease is expected to jump by 40 percent.

An increasing number of those will be veterans whose traumatic brain injuries or post-traumatic stress disorder have made them twice as likely to develop dementia.
